About
Diego Camarmas Alonso is a post-doctoral researcher in the Computer Architecture and Technology area at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) in Spain, where he is a member of the Computer Architecture Research Group (ARCOS) in the Computer Science and Engineering Department.
His research activity focuses mainly on distributed systems, high-performance computing, file systems, blockchain, IoT device networks, and educational computer architecture simulators. Also, he has participated in the ADMIRE and ERA4TB European projects, as well as in several national projects.
As a result of his research, he is the author of CREATOR, an integrated development environment for assembly-language programming, and of Expand, a distributed file system. In addition, he is the co-author of more than 30 journal and conference articles.
